In this paper we analyze the effects of conduction and variable properties on a two dimensional conjugate heat transfer of a nanofluid containing a mixture of two fluids namely, Aluminium oxide (Al2O3) and water. Nanoparticles are dispersed in a mixture of 60% Ethylene Glycol and 40% water by mass ie 60: 40 EG/water in a two dimensional microchannel. A numerical solution has been obtained that assesses the effect of axial conduction in both solid and liquid regions in a laminar
